The design centres on an automated roof hatch accessed via a newly stacked staircase; an elegant solution that not only connects the terrace seamlessly to the interior but maximises spatial efficiency across all levels.

The terrace itself was conceived as an extension of the home rather than an add-on. Timber decking softens the built structure, while a curated lounge and garden area provide generous space for hosting or unwinding. Durable furnishings, tactile textiles and considered planting bring a sense of softness and retreat, transforming this previously unused rooftop into a tranquil and practical outdoor living space.
