In the Community
In addition to receiving some incredible accolades for our work over the years, we are deeply passionate in our commitment to support and uplift the wider design community, inspiring emerging talents and aspiring professionals alike to strive for greatness. With over 30 years of industry expertise, our director Susie spearheads this pledge to drive change, innovation, and passion within our field.
From volunteering her time and expertise judging the prestigious Sussex Heritage Trust Awards and annual BIID Awards, through to her involvement talking at the London trade shows, Susie plays a vital role in recognising and celebrating excellence in interior design. As a passionate advocate for knowledge sharing and continued professional development, we prioritise relevance and accessibility within our efforts to connect with particular focus placed on reaching the up-and-coming generation. Through interviews, informative YouTube series, collaborations and partnerships, we’re dedicated to creating platforms that facilitate the exchange of ideas, enriching the design landscape, and nurturing cultures of creativity, support, and development both at our own Studio as well as within the wider design community.

PFEIFFER DESIGN ON TV
In this edition of Latest Homes Live, Susie Pfeiffer shows presenters Simone Thorogood and Andrew Bullock round her beautiful home, which she designed and decorated herself. She explains how she married the renovated flint barn and its French architectural-salvage pieces with the modern extension; she also describes key design elements such as layered indoor lighting and hard landscaping, and sustainable features like the ground-source heat pump that provides underfloor heating, and photovoltaic cells that generate electricity. Talking about her work, Susie highlights the importance of building relationships, and understanding how clients want to live.
